Damo Suzuki was the iconic vocalist of Can from 1970 to 1973 and later inspired a global, improvised performance concept known as Damo Suzuki's Network. This ongoing project pairs Suzuki with local musicians—referred to as sound carriers—to craft unrehearsed, in-the-moment performances that defy traditional setlists. While Damo Suzuki passed away on February 9, 2024, the Network continues to release collaborative works and host events that celebrate the spirit of instant composing. Below you’ll find a concise biography, discography highlights, and information about posthumous activity and opportunities to engage with the Network's legacy. For fans in the Gold Coast and broader Queensland area, we’ve got you covered with updates on related performances and releases as they become available.
