Damone is a rock band with deep New England roots, formed in Waltham, Massachusetts in 2001. Originally known as Noelle, the group evolved into Damone with a lineup featuring Noelle LeBlanc, Mike Woods, Vazquez, and Dustin Hengst. Their early work began under the Noelle name with the release This Summer in 2002, followed by the major-label release From the Attic on RCA in 2003. The band later joined Island/Def Jam, issuing Out Here All Night in 2006, a rock-forward LP that helped propel extensive touring. Key tracks from their catalog include the Billboard-charting single Out Here All Night (2006). Although the band faced the heartbreak of drummer Dustin Hengst’s passing in 2011, Damone regrouped for two Boston-area shows in July 2019. For fans and new listeners, Damone’s story is one of persistence, compelling rock, and hometown ties to the greater Boston area.
