Dan Atkinson is a dynamic jazz trombonist hailing from Rochester, New York. An Eastman School of Music alumnus, he leads the Dan Atkinson Small Band and performs with ISquare (Dan Atkinson Septet) and other local ensembles. With a sound rooted in classic jazz vocabulary and a restless curiosity for new ideas, Dan brings a fresh voice to the trombone and to the Rochester jazz scene.
