DanceArt is an LA-based chamber modern dance company founded by visionary choreographer Benita Bike. Since its inception, the company has prioritized outreach and education, bringing innovative dance into communities through interactive programs, school partnerships, and accessible performances. We’ve built a reputation for precise technique, expressive storytelling, and collaborative artistry that invites audiences of all ages to engage with contemporary dance.

DanceArt’s 2025–26 season centers on a robust touring schedule across Southern California, including Lineage Performing Arts Center in Pasadena, ARC Pasadena, Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Los Angeles Mission College in Sylmar, La Crescenta Library, Culver City Senior Center, and Discovery Cube LA in Sylmar. The company has earned significant support from Los Angeles County Arts & Culture and the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs for 2025–2026, underscoring its commitment to high-caliber programming and community engagement.
