Dancing Wheels, now widely recognized as the World Center for Integrated Dance & Arts Access, is a trailblazing performer and company dedicated to inclusive, accessible dance. Founded in 1980 by Mary Verdi-Fletcher, the first professional wheelchair dancer in the United States, the organization brings together dancers with and without disabilities to create compelling, physically integrated performances. Based in Ohio with a global touring footprint, Dancing Wheels continues to expand access to the arts through education, performance, and outreach.
