Daniel Hass is a distinguished cellist and composer whose work sits at the crossroads of classical chamber music and contemporary cross-genre exploration. A Juilliard graduate (Kovner Fellow, 2017; Master’s 2021), and a Perlman Music Program alumnus, Hass is a founding member of the Renaissance String Quartet, alongside Randall Goosby, Jeremiah Blacklow, and Jameel Martin. His artistry blends Beethovenian rigor with explorations into jazz, folk, and modernס repertoire, earning him accolades and commissions from leading foundations.

Based in New York with a growing footprint on international stages, Hass actively performs, records, and premieres new works—bringing a fresh voice to the concert hall and beyond.
