Biography: Danza Sankai Juku was founded in 1975 by Ushio Amagatsu, a pioneer who reshaped the global perception of Japanese dance. After Amagatsu’s death in 2024, Semimaru has taken on the role of artistic representative, ensuring the company remains a vital, evolving force on the world stage.
