Das Racist was a defining force in late-2000s independent hip hop, mixing sharp wit with eclectic production. The group consisted of Heems (Himanshu Suri), Kool A.D. (Victor Vazquez), and Dapwell (Ashok Kondabolu). They rose to prominence online with their viral hit Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell (2008) and earned critical acclaim for their 2010 mixtapes Shut Up, Dude and Sit Down, Man. Their studio album Relax (2011) on Greedhead Music highlighted their ability to blend humor, social commentary, and inventive flows, reaching notable chart positions and generating fan-favorite singles like Michael Jackson. While the trio disbanded in 2012, each member has continued to push forward with solo projects and live performances. This page covers their biography, discography highlights, and current touring activity for fans across the Gold Coast region and beyond.
