The Summer Horns project began in 2013 as a collaboration between Dave Koz, Gerald Albright, Mindi Abair, and Richard Elliot, released by Concord Records and earning a Grammy nod for Best Pop Instrumental Album. The subsequent 2018 release, Summer Horns II From A to Z, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Current Contemporary Jazz Albums chart, cementing their status as a premier horn-forward ensemble. The 2025 lineup features Marcus Anderson, Evan Taylor, Jeff Bradshaw, Leo P, and Marcel Anderson, continuing the horn-driven, funk and soul-infused sound that fans love.
