Welcome to the official Davenport University Panthers Football performer page. Since launching the program in 2016, the Panthers have risen through NCAA Division II to make a mark in the GLIAC. Under head coach Sparky McEwen, who has led the program since 2017, Davenport Football calls the Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex home. The team earned its first NCAA Division II playoff berth in 2023 and continues to build on a strong 2022 record of 8-3 and an 8-2 record in 2023. As of 2025, the Panthers have a competitive 5-5 overall record and a 4-3 GLIAC mark, with 11 scheduled games including the Calder City Classic against Ferris State on November 15.
