David Coucheron is a distinguished violinist and leader in the American classical scene. Since September 2010, he has served as the concertmaster of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, reportedly becoming the youngest concertmaster among major U.S. orchestras at the time. Beyond the orchestra, he co-founded and directs the Kon-Tiki Chamber Music Festival in Oslo, Norway, reflecting his commitment to intimate, artist-led performances that connect audiences with exceptional classical music. As a recording artist, David collaborates with his sister Julie Coucheron on projects that span the early 2000s to today, including Debut (2002, Naxos), David and Julie (2008, Naxos/Mudi), and The Lark Ascending as featured soloist with the ASO (2014, ASO Media).
