DaVinci & Michelangelo Side by Side is a two-hour, docudrama-style theatre experience that blends videos, 3D animations, and immersive imagery of the masters' works. Created and hosted by Mark Rodgers, who also serves as the North American curator of the DaVinci Machines and Michelangelo Exhibitions, this show brings art history to life in a dynamic, cinematic format. Since its Off-Broadway debut in 2019 as The DaVinci Michelangelo Experience, the production has logged 100+ performances, including a milestone 100th NYC show at SoHo Playhouse on March 11, 2022. The experience has earned multiple nominations in 2022 for Best Play, Best Performance (Mark Rodgers), Best Direction, Best Lighting Design, and Best Sound Design. The 2024 UK tour brought the show to Bloomsbury Theatre in London, Coventry’s Albany Theatre, Glasgow Grosvenor, and other venues across Scotland and the UK, with a 2025 Aruba engagement planned at Cas di Cultura.
