Dayramir González, known for Dayramir and Habana Entrance, is a distinguished Cuban pianist and composer celebrated for his vibrant fusion of traditional Afro-C Cuban rhythms with contemporary jazz. A three-time Cubadisco Award winner for Habana enTRANCé (2007) and a recipient of Berklee College of Music’s first Cuban national Presidential Scholar honor, Dayramir has established himself as a leading voice in modern Latin jazz. His work has graced iconic stages and festivals, including Carnegie Hall, Monterey Jazz Festival, SFJAZZ, and the Detroit Jazz Festival. He continues to push creative boundaries through new projects like the V.I.D.A. series, with recent releases and live appearances shaping his ongoing artistic story.
