The Days of 47 Pops Concert is a cornerstone of Utah’s Pioneer celebration, blending orchestral elegance with choral power and contemporary acoustic artistry. Since 1997, conductor Sterling S. Poulson has led the program, guiding a celebration of Utah’s heritage through a dynamic mix of traditional brass and strings, grand choral pieces, and guest performances. The 2025 edition embraced the Pioneer Spirit—Pioneer Strong—delivering an accessible, concert-for-all experience with free admission and required tickets at Maurice Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City.
