What reaches the room
The Daytona Beach Symphony Society has been a cornerstone of the Central Florida arts scene since 1952. As a not-for-profit organization, they bring orchestral, opera, and dance programming to the Daytona Beach community, enriching lives through accessible, high-quality performances. Their season runs from December through March, typically staged at the News-Journal Center on the Daytona State College campus.

Founded with a spirit of community access and artistic excellence, the Daytona Beach Symphony Society established an endowment in 2003 to support ongoing programming. The YES! program, launched in the mid-1990s, brings free classical concerts to local students, expanding opportunities to experience orchestral music.
