De Vrienden Van Amstel Live! (VVAL) is the Netherlands’ flagship live music event series, born in 1998 as De Heeren van Amstel and later rebranded to De Vrienden van Amstel Live!. Produced by Tribe Company, these concerts bring together a large, diverse lineup for a nation-wide celebration of music, community, and Amstel beer. Rotterdam Ahoy has been the iconic home for the final performances since 1999, earning the title of the event’s flagship venue. Each edition features a multi-night run with artists spanning multiple genres, drawing tens of thousands of attendees per show and hundreds of thousands across the run.
