He leads the Dean Shot Band and the Dean Shot Trio, performing regularly at notable NJ venues like Great Notch Inn in Little Falls and Shillelagh Club in West Orange. His career spans live performances, collaborations, and studio appearances that showcase his versatility as a guitarist and bandleader.

Beyond the stage, Dean Shot's guitar work has appeared on several respected releases, including Vin Mott’s Rogue Hunter (2019) and Quit the Women for the Blues (2017), as well as Mark Margolies’ Cant You See (2022).
