Dear Nora is a Portland-born project led by Katy Davidson, formed in 1999 with rotating members and named after Nora Beck of Lewis & Clark College. Known for intimate, lo-fi songwriting and nature-infused imagery, Dear Nora blends indie pop, anti-folk, and indie rock to create songs that feel both personal and expansive. After a decade-long pause, the project revived in 2017 with the reissue of Mountain Rock and released new material through Skulls Example (2018) and the acclaimed Human Futures (2022). In 2025, Dear Nora brings the show to venues nationwide—an opportunity to hear the band’s delicate melodies performed live.
