Dee Palmer is a distinguished keyboardist, arranger, and performer known for her pivotal role with Jethro Tull as their orchestral arranger from the late 1960s into the 1980s. She joined Jethro Tull on tour in 1976 and contributed extensive orchestral arrangements across numerous albums, helping shape the band's expansive sound. Beyond her work with Jethro Tull, Dee Palmer has led and contributed to the Symphonic Rock Series, producing and performing orchestral tributes to classic acts like Genesis, Pink Floyd, Yes, Queen, and The Beatles. Her solo work, including the 2018 album Through Darkened Glass, features collaborative performances with artists such as Martin Barre and showcases her talents as a performer, arranger, and conceptual interpreter of rock through orchestral sensibilities. A Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music (FRAM) since 1994, Palmer remains a respected figure in the UK and international music scenes.
