Delarue Dance Centre Tickets

Delarue Dance Centre (DDC) has been a cornerstone of Lafayette, Louisiana’s dance community since 1970. Founded by Carol DeLarue and now led by director Melodee Zay, DDC offers a comprehensive program for aspiring dancers aged 3–18. From classical ballet and pointe to contemporary genres like hip-hop and lyrical, our studio focuses on technique, artistry, and personal growth in a supportive environment. The DDC Company is a dedicated competition team that brings the excitement of live performance to audiences across the region, with 2–3 competitions annually. Our class calendar runs from early September to late May, and we’re proud to stage major performances at the Heymann Performing Arts Center (HPAC) in Lafayette.

DDC hosts special visiting days and studio events throughout the year, including Visiting Day Studio A (Nov 10–14, 2025) and Visiting Day Studio B (Nov 17–22, 2025). We encourage families to secure seats early for annual showcases and the 56th Revue at HPAC, planned for June 7, 2026, with rehearsals leading up to the performance. For current classes, our seasoned instructors guide students through Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Pointe, and Technique, ensuring a well-rounded dance education.
