The Delaware Symphony Orchestra (DSO) has a storied 96-year history as a cornerstone of Delaware’s classical music scene. Founded in 1929 and based in Wilmington, the DSO performs major classical works and innovative programming across two core series—the Classical Series for full orchestra and the intimate Chamber Series—while also delivering robust education and community outreach.
