DEMO By Damian Woetzel is the dynamic intersection of dance, music, and multidisciplinary art. Boasting a storied career as a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet from 1985 to 2008, Woetzel has since shaped the cultural landscape as a leader, educator, and creative director. He serves as President of The Juilliard School (since July 2018), bringing a unique blend of performance excellence and public administration insights to one of the world’s premier performing arts institutions. Woetzel’s influence expansive reach includes artistic leadership of the Vail Dance Festival since 2007, the Jerome Robbins NEW Program, and leadership roles at the Aspen Institute Arts Program.
