DEMO: Heroes brings together a remarkable lineup for a multidisciplinary performance as part of the Kennedy Center's DEMO series, curated by Damian Woetzel, former New York City Ballet principal dancer. This collaboration-focused program showcases cross-genre artistry in a single evening, offering audiences a unique blend of dance, music, and performance art. The event took place on October 10, 2016, at the Eisenhower Theater in Washington, DC, as part of a sequence that includes DEMO: Time (2015) and DEMO: Place (2016). The DEMO series continued with later iterations such as DEMO: Now (2018–2020) and DEMO: Jerome Robbins (2017). While there isn’t a dedicated social media channel for DEMO: Heroes, promotion is handled through the Kennedy Center and the participating artists, making it a collaborative, artist-led experience to secure your seats for an unforgettable night of cross-genre collaboration.
