Led by Brutalitus the Bloodbeard as the lead lyricist and story creator, Dethlehem blends fantasy lore with thunderous metal, delivering concept-driven albums and immersive performances. The band has grown a dedicated following through hands-on fan engagement, including Kickstarter-backed components for major releases.

Discography highlights reveal a steady stream of released work, from the early concept explorations to modern narratives. The most recent complete albums are Maelstrom of the Emerald Dragon (Story Mode) and Maelstrom of the Emerald Dragon (music tracks only), both released in 2020, followed by Destroyers of the Realm (2015) and The Ghor Jerusalem Codex, Vol. 2: Of Magick & Tyranny (2011). Earlier work includes The Ghorusalem Codex, Vol. I: Enthroned Upon A Spire (2009). In 2025, Dethlehem released the single Sun-Seeker under an independent label, with live performances confirmed in 2025.
