DFL is a cornerstone of Los Angeles punk, built on a raw, no-nonsense approach to music and performance. Formed in 1991 with core members Crazy Tom Davis, Monty Messex, Ad-Rock (Adam Horovitz), and Tony Converse, the group carved out a distinctive voice within the West Coast scene. Their debut album, My Crazy Life, arrived in 1993 on Grand Royal, featuring the track America’s Most Hardcore. Over the years, DFL has evolved through reformation and new releases, staying true to their punk ethos while inviting collaborations and fresh production.
