Birch’s career kicked off with strong press and exposure: Bible Belt (2009) on S-Curve Records drew positive reviews from Rolling Stone, Paper Magazine, and Huffington Post, while Starbucks named Rise Up an iTunes Pick of the Week in October 2009, broadening her reach in the US. She opened for Stevie Wonder at the Hard Rock Calling Festival in 2010 and promoted Bible Belt on major TV programs, including Late Show, Tonight Show, and Live From Daryl’s House. Her 2013 sophomore album Speak a Little Louder arrived on S-Curve, with the lead single All the Love You Got released in 2014. Birch self-produced Nous (EP, 2016) and released Flying on Abraham in 2024, with Wind Machine as a prelude single. The 2024 album was produced in the UK and issued on Légère Recordings.
