Digital Dreams Music Festival began in 2012 as a landmark electronic dance music event in Toronto, drawing tens of thousands to The Flats at Ontario Place. Known for its multi-stage setups—Digital, Dream, Bass, and Canada/Boulevard/House of Boom—this festival quickly became a flagship for EDM culture in Canada. In 2017, the brand reimagined itself as Bud Light Dreams Music Festival, shifting to a boutique 19+ experience at Echo Beach on Ontario Place, and aligning with RBC Echo Beach for an intimate, festival-within-a-festival vibe. While the last edition took place in 2019 with headliners like Zedd, Rezz, NGHTMRE & Slander, the festival has continued to influence the Canadian EDM scene through charitable work with MusiCounts and early adoption of cashless/RFID technologies. As of 2026, there are no publicly announced 2025 dates, but Digital Dreams remains a touchstone for electronic music fans in Toronto and beyond.
