Originating in Atlanta, Dinner Time is a 5-piece collective that fuses indie pop sensibilities with nu-funk rhythms, garage-rock swagger, and psychedelic color. The band’s early momentum came from their breakout single “Walden Park” in 2018, which helped catalyze their rise and set the stage for their live performances. They released their self-titled debut DINNER TIME in 2019, followed by Halfway Down in 2021, and then Technicolor in 2024 on The Record Machine. The Technicolor era features tracks like “Shimmer,” “Cherry Tree,” “Shoes 2,” and “Cuídate,” which continued to showcase their evolving blend of melodic hooks and groove-forward arrangements.
Across stages from intimate clubs to larger venues, Dinner Time has become known for immersive live sets that emphasize instrumental chemistry and a shared creative energy. The band’s approach favors collaboration and a democratic songwriting process, making each release a snapshot of a living, growing group rather than a fixed persona.
