Born in 1988 in Timișoara, Romania, Dinu Mihailescu is a pianist who builds bridges between classical tradition and modern, contemporary repertoire. Based in Switzerland, he studied at the Haute École de Musique de Genève and earned a Doctor of Music (PhD) in 2021 with a focus on Bartók’s microcosm. His work spans solo recital as well as collaborative projects, including the piano duo OXY MORE with Philippe Boaron, and cross-genre collaborations that push the boundaries of performance.

As a performer recognized for both technical mastery and adventurous programming, Mihailescu has earned major awards such as the 2nd Prize at the Béla Bartók International Piano Competition (Hungary, 2017) and the 2nd Prize at the Nice Côte d’Azur International Piano Competition (France, 2016). His discography highlights the ROmerican Avant-Garde solo album (Claves Records, 2025) and the OXY MORE duo album (In Between Productions, 2021). He also collaborated with Youn Sun Nah in 2024 and made a notable U.S. tour in 2023, culminating in a Carnegie Hall debut in October 2025.
