People behind the production
Dirty Circus is a Vancouver-born performer with roots in the experimental hip hop scene that emerged from the Sweatshop Union collective. Active since 2000, Dirty Circus began as a Sweatshop Union side project and evolved with core members including Metty the Dert Merchant and Mos Eisley, later augmented by DJ Itchy Ron. The project blends sharp lyricism with a worldly sensibility, drawing on a community of Canadian artists and broader underground hip hop influences. Whether performing as a standalone act or as part of related collective projects, Dirty Circus brings a distinctive voice from the West Coast scene to audiences across Canada and beyond.
