Dirty South is the alias of Dragan Roganovic, born in Belgrade in 1978 and based in Melbourne. He started releasing music under the Dirty South name in 2004 and quickly became a leading light in global dance music. His sound blends house and progressive house with electro influences, characterized by melodic, emotional drops and expansive big-room textures. Over the years, Dirty South has earned multiple ARIA Award nominations for Best Dance Release (2005, 2006) and Grammy nominations for Best Remixed Recording (Kaskade’s "Sorry" in 2008; The Temper Trap’s "Sweet Disposition" in 2011). His discography features acclaimed albums such as With You (2014), Speed of Life (2013), and the 2018 releases XV and Darko, marking him as a lasting influence in the electronic music landscape.
