Dissonanze is a landmark in Rome’s electronic music landscape, originally founded in 2000 by Giorgio Mortari. Known for pushing boundaries with multimedia and site-specific performances, the festival ran annually through 2010 and became a beacon for innovative live electronics. After Mortari’s passing in December 2011, Dissonanze continued to influence the scene through curated performances, collaborations, and distinctive programming that blends sound, space, and technology.
