DJ Jason Heller is a multifaceted Denver-based performer known for his guitar work with Weathered Statues, a post-punk/deathrock project that emerged around 2017–2018. Based in Denver, Heller has built a reputation as a live DJ, writer, and musician who brings a deep knowledge of underground and independent music to every performance. Weathered Statues released Borderlands in 2018 on Svart Records, with the opening track Corpse Candle later remixed by Lol Tolhurst of The Cure, highlighting the project’s bold-wired approach to dark, textured sounds. Heller’s stage presence blends tight, guitar-driven energy with DJ sets that draw on a broad spectrum of influences, from classic post-punk to contemporary underground scenes.
