Biography: Doom Gong formed in 2022 when seven Louisville musicians joined forces to explore a distinctive Denim Psych sound—fusing kinetic riffs, layered synths, and hypnotic grooves. The group quickly established itself with a prolific release schedule and a strong live reputation. By 2023, they released DOOM GONG and Dream Behemoth, followed by a 2024 live album, Live at The Whirling Tiger. In 2025, they issued MEGAGONG on Romanus Records; the debut vinyl press sold out rapidly, signaling the band’s growing collector appeal. Doom Gong’s 2024 summer tours spanned the eastern U.S. and Canada, and 2025–2026 plans point to a massive international tour across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
