Doug Cox’s career spans decades of collaboration with acclaimed artists and leadership in music festivals. He was the first Canadian to perform at Dobrofest and the first Canadian booked for the Montreal Jazz Festival, underscoring his impact on North American blues and roots stages. Residing on Vancouver Island, he has served as producer and arts director for Vancouver Island MusicFest, contributing to a festival that celebrates diverse voices and community storytelling.
