DownRiver Collective brings a fresh pulse to bluegrass, folk, and Americana with progressive acoustic influences. Formed in 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee, the core members are connected to Belmont University, shaping a tight, dynamic sound rooted in traditional roots and adventurous arrangements. The band has earned recognition across the bluegrass community, including the IBMA Momentum Band of the Year award in 2024 and the FreshGrass Bentonville Awards Band win in 2025.

The lineup features John Gray Zahurancik on banjo and guitar, Bailey Warren on fiddle, Ali Vance on lead vocals, Rico Wallenda on mandolin, Jonny Therrien on guitar and dobro, and Eli Broxham on bass. Their music blends melodic fiddle lines, rich vocal harmonies, and intricate picking, delivering both intimate studio recordings and energetic live performances.

From their debut EP Off the Shelf (2023) on Kettleridge Records to their debut full-length Give It All Away (2025), DownRiver Collective has built a catalog that resonates with fans of roots-centric storytelling and virtuosic playing. The lead single Come On Back (April 2025) set the stage for a highly anticipated album, followed by Restless Heart (June 2025), which charted regionally.
