Downtown Chamber Series (DCS) is a distinctive Phoenix-based performer collective founded by violist Mark Dix, artistic director and a member of The Phoenix Symphony. What started as a bold initiative to fuse chamber music with visual art has grown into a vibrant series presenting six programs each year at diverse downtown venues. DCS blends strings, winds, brass, percussion, electronics, and video, collaborating with artists to deliver performances that span from Baroque foundations to contemporary explorations.
