Dr. Yuri Ivan is a distinguished conductor based in Minnesota, leading community-driven classical music initiatives. Since 2007, he has served as Music Director of the Linden Hills Chamber Orchestra and Artistic Director of the Kenwood Symphony Orchestra, guiding ensembles with collaboration, musical excellence, and accessible programming. He founded the Byzantine Choral Festival Minnesota in 2010 and has led programs at St. Constantine Ukrainian Catholic Church. Ivan earned his doctoral degree in conducting at the University of Minnesota, bringing a strong scholarly and practical foundation to orchestral leadership.

Beyond conducting, Ivan builds programs that connect traditional repertoire with community engagement, bringing orchestral music to venues across Minnesota. He mentors young musicians and collaborates with local chorales and churches while pursuing innovative festival initiatives.
