Dreams of the Fallen Tickets

Dreams of the Fallen is a transformative choral-symphony-concerto for solo piano, SATB chorus, and orchestra, drawing its text from the poetry of Brian Turner. Since its world premiere on Veterans Day 2013 at the National WWII Museum in New Orleans, the work has grown into a meaningful memorial piece addressing soldiers’ wartime experiences, resilience, and recovery. While there is no dedicated 2025 Dreams of the Fallen tour announced as of early 2026, the work regularly appears within broader concert programs by ensembles such as the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphony Chorus of New Orleans, Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, Rockford Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey, and Virginia Arts Festival. Performances have been featured by groups including the Chicago Composers Orchestra and VocalEssence in prior years. The piece appeared on the 2024 album A Dream So Bright: Choral Music of Jake Runestad, which earned a 2025 Grammy nomination for Best Choral Performance.
