Droneflower is a collaborative project blending Marissa Nadler's folk and dream-pop sensibilities with Stephen Brodsky's heavier, ambient textures. Released as a self-tabricated cinematic experience, the 2019 album Droneflower features ten tracks, including the lead single For the Sun and two covers, Estranged by Guns N’ Roses and In Spite of Me by Morphine, with Dana Colley on sax. The project has a concise but impactful discography and a handful of East Coast live performances around its release. While Droneflower as a standalone act has not announced new dates for 2025, fans can stay tuned for any future updates, and Nadler’s broader North American tour activity in 2025–2026 may intersect with Droneflower material.
