Drum TAO 2020 is a world-renowned taiko (Japanese drum) performance collective that blends athleticism, music, and storytelling. Formed in 1993 in Aichi and later based in Kusumi, Oita Prefecture, they built an international training base for Grandioso rhythm and precision. Over the years, Drum TAO has performed in more than 30 countries, captivating audiences with their explosive live shows and intricate choreography.

From their Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut in 2004–2005 to sold-out Off-Broadway runs in New York in 2016, Drum TAO has earned recognition as a global ambassador for Japanese drumming. Newsweek highlighted TAO as a face of Japan to the world, underscoring their impact on the international stage.
