Founded by Papi Sorrels (Big Papi) and featuring PJ Gartrell since 2023, the show has grown into a flagship format that blends live piano artistry with interactive requests. Since ACME Event Co. took over in 2013, DPORS has expanded into a quartet of formats—1 Grand Cocktail Pop-Up, 3 Grands Encore, 4 Grands 8 Hands, and the original 2-piano Road Show—each delivering a unique, energetic night of sing-alongs and audience participation. DPORS has earned recognition, including the 2006 Best of Colorado Springs Independent for Big Ivory Ticklers, and Papi Sorrels becoming the first and only dueling-pianos performer to perform in all 50 U.S. states (as of 2017).
