The DuPage Community Jazz Ensemble (DCJE) is a vibrant large-ensemble jazz program based at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. Known for its expansive repertoire that spans more than a century of big-band and large jazz ensemble literature, the ensemble also commissions and performs original works by its members. Rehearsals take place Wednesdays from 7:00 to 9:50 pm in MAC Room 138, continuing a tradition of rigorous study, dynamic performance, and community engagement. DCJE has become a staple of the Chicago-area jazz scene, regularly appearing at major events and festivals while serving as a proving ground for area musicians and aspiring professionals.
