Originating from Santa Cruz in the late 2000s, Dusted Angel emerged as a force in the heavy psych scene. Their self-titled 7" EP arrived in 2009 via Corruption Recordings with Relapse distribution, setting the stage for a string of releases that would shape their signature sound. Over the years, Dusted Angel expanded into full-length worlds, delivering a creeping blend of fuzz-drenched riffs, melodic hooks, and mood-heavy atmospherics that resonate with fans of classic desert rock and modern doom-tinged rock.

Today, Dusted Angel continues to evolve, bringing a renewed energy with This Side Of The Dirt, released on Heavy Psych Sounds in 2025. The lineup for the comeback record features Clifford Dinsmore (vocals), Ed Gregor (guitar), Eric Fieber (guitar), Steve Ilse (drums), and Eliot Young (bass), delivering a tight, hard-hitting groove that fans have come to expect alongside new explorations in sound.
