People behind the production
Ears On A Beatle is a unique two-person stage play blending drama and comedy to explore the paranoia, passion, and public scrutiny surrounding John Lennon in the 1970s. Created by playwright Mark St. Germain, the show uses FBI files and archival material to frame a character-driven, intimate narrative. The piece has a storied production history, with its world premiere at Barrington Stage Company in 2003 and subsequent runs off-Broadway and coast-to-coast in 2004. Although there are no current public touring dates listed for 2025–2026, this title remains a notable part of contemporary American theatre licensing, with scripts available through Concord Theatricals (Samuel French).
