East Carolina Pirates Softball represents a growing program under head coach Shane Winkler, who is in his fifth season at ECU since his appointment in May 2021. The Pirates play home games at ECU Softball Stadium, officially known as Max R. Joyner Family Stadium, and have built a competitive presence in the American Athletic Conference (AAC).
