About EWU volleyball: founded as part of Eastern Washington University athletics, the Eagles made a mark with the 1997 Big Sky regular-season title and earned an at-large bid to the 1998 NCAA Tournament. In 2004, the 2004 EWU Volleyball team was inducted into the EWU Athletics Hall of Fame.
