Born Edgar A. Cano on May 15, 1970 in Santa Ana, California, Eddie Bravo adopted the surname Bravo and became a pivotal figure in modern grappling. As the founder of 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu, Bravo built a no-gi system that helped reshape submission grappling worldwide.
