Edward Auer and Junghwa Moon Auer form one of today’s most compelling four-hands piano duos. Auer broke ground as the first American prize-winner at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw (1965) and has continued to shape the piano world through prize-winning performances across major competitions including Vienna, Moscow, and Paris. Junghwa Moon Auer brings a rich academic and performance background, having studied at Yonsei University, the New England Conservatory, and Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and currently teaches at Roosevelt University. Together, they fuse a deep musical lineage with a modern concert presence, presenting intimate duo recitals and broad educational outreach.
