El Camino Youth Symphony Tickets

Founded in 1963 by William Galbraith and originally named El Camino Youth Symphony, this California-based youth orchestra has grown into a premier program for young classical musicians. In 2018, the ensemble officially adopted the name Golden State Youth Orchestra to reflect its broader California identity while preserving the enduring spirit of its origins. GSYO develops talent through a diverse slate of ensembles, performance opportunities, and a commitment to artistic excellence.

GSYO programs include the Symphony Orchestra, Camilla Kolchinsky Orchestra, El Camino Wind Orchestra, Galbraith Honor Strings, Camerata Orchestra, Chamber Players Orchestra, and the Summer Conservatory. The organization regularly hosts guest soloists of international stature and maintains a nationally recognized, award-winning Senior Symphony.

Looking ahead, GSYO presents a vibrant 2025 concert season in San Jose.
